Electronic industry – EI Nis INVESTMENT PROJECTS • Group is a vertical conglomerate with 12 divisions and more then 100 companies • Long tradition in cooperation with foreign partners • Joint ventures with Alcatel - telephone exchanges; Siemens –VF and telephones; Bull – computers • Industrial cooperation with companies: Siemens (telecommunication and X-ray equipment); Philips in colour picture tubes and TV sets and many others.

  3. Small hydro power plants INVESTMENT PROJECTS • The most significant renewable energy source in Serbia is hydropower, with potential totaling around 17,000 GWh • 10,000 GWh has been used up to date while remaining 7,000 GWh is technically available hydro–potential • Hydro plants could be built on 335 selected locations, with 319 MW installed power • Annual production of 1,104,000,000 kWh, and investment return period of up to 10 years • A total project value is estimated at around €210 mn • The Strategy for energy development gives special emphasis on setting up small hydroelectric power plants

Srem irrigation system INVESTMENT PROJECTS • Two large rivers, the Sava, from the south, and the Danube, from the north and east, bound the Srem irrigation area • Beside the land resources, the region boasts a strong agricultural tradition, significant degree of developed water resources and other infrastructure, • The project covers approximately 225,130 ha, which is about 89% of its agricultural land; • The total investment needed for the construction of the whole system amounts to around $70 mn. • Total income from the irrigated land after the project completion will grow by a factor of 2.73 in regard to the present average results.

Macva irrigation system INVESTMENT PROJECTS • The Region of Macva extends over 110,000 ha of a fertile alluvial plain • Two large rivers, the Sava and the Drina, bound the area from the north, west, and north-west. • The region’s water regime is frequently affected by floods in the spring months. • Within the region, a drainage canal network has been constructed, with six large pump stations. • The total investment (divided into 10 phases) amounts to about $88.54 mn. • The internal rate of return is 19.6% (IBRD criteria).

Petrohemija INVESTMENT PROJECTS • The largest producer of petrochemicals with 30 years of tradition • Technologically connected to the oil refinery in Pancevo • The company is located on 328 hectares in total with: • ETHYLENE Plant, • HDPE–High Density Polyethylene Plant, • LDPE–Low Density Polyethylene Plant, • FSK–Synthetic Rubber Plant, • PANONIJAPLAST–Compound Production Plants, • PETROPLAST–PE Pipes & Fittings Production Plant, • ELECTROLYSIS–Chlor-Alkali Electrolysis Plant, • FOV–Waste Water Treatment Plant, • UTILITY PLAN–Energy Fluids Production and Distribution. • The tender for the sale of 70% of socially-owned capital is to be announced by Q3 2007

Stara Planina INVESTMENT PROJECTS • The main goals of the project are the following: • Establish a four season resort with accommodation for 22,000 skiers; provide ski able terrains • Build lift and trail capacities to maintain quality skiing and snowboarding conditions; • Erect base area facilities and provide accommodation in a “Resort Village.” • Public infrastructure financed by state • A project’s estimated value is €400 mn, with the implementation period of 10 years

Belgrade North Tangent Line (NTL) INVESTMENT PROJECTS The idea is to link the radial roads, leading the traffic into the central zone, by developing ring roads of a sufficient capacity NTL is a section of a great significance - directs the traffic flow from the North-East (bank of the Danube) to other directions without passing through the central zone NTL also links three very frequent entry points into the city and the Belgrade-Nis Highway, as well as distant parts of the region and city The NTL is planned as a city highway and represents one of the priority directions within the road network of the city The planned investment value of the structure is about €800 mn. The preparation of the plans and project documentation for this road is in progress
