  4. Joshua is black. (It’s declarative, but not true…so its wrong.) NOT Declarative.

  5. Sit down you are out of order! The judge enjoined the defendant. Help me please, Barbara elicited Joe’s help to do Saress’s project. Imperative

  6. The Jonas Brothers are cool. (Also not true.) NOT Imperative

  7. Will you sit down and start doing your homework? Anita asked imperiously. In the 1700’s was the word “query” used as a verb or as a noun? Was Rafa cajoling you while he danced? Interrogative

  8. I like bananas? NOT Interrogative
