  1. GCE Fine Art Welcome to the AS Fine Art course 2012 – 2013 Exam Board – AQA Unit 1 = 50% of total marks Unit 1 - Unusual Viewpoints This course is designed to build on your art experiences so far and help you to develop in a much more individual way. Staff are here to guide and assist you; they will monitor your progress closely and will give you regular feedback. Work hard and enjoy!

  2. Unit 1 - Unusual Viewpoints Recording Recording. For September: With the theme Unusual Viewpoints in mind, take photographs from a range of viewpoints. For instance, close-up, low down, from above, looking through, looking up, looking into etc. Try to think creatively! Consider such things as composition, subject matter, surfaces, detail, texture, lighting, colour, tone and line. From your photographs produce 4 detailed studies using a range of media. Make each study a different size or shape – from A5 to A1, from square to narrow strip. Present your work to the group in whatever way you feel to be suitable. You will be judged on the accuracy of your observational drawing skills as well as the quality of your photography. Good Luck! Remember that this work will contribute towards your AS mark.
