  4. Space • Space is the last art element we are going to learn. • Space is the area that is in the image. There is Positive space and Negative space. • Positive space is the object in the picture plane and Negative space is the area around it.

  5. Your assignment • Find a picture you enjoy, then Identify where the positive and negative space is in it, print it out and highlight the positive or negative space.
