Correlation Analysis of eQTLs and Drip Loss Phenotype via General Linear Model Adjustment

This study investigates the correlation between gene expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) and the phenotype of drip loss using a general linear model approach. By analyzing 11,457 probe sets after normalization, we identified 897 eQTLs associated with significantly correlated genes. Our findings include 104 eQTLs located in QTL regions for drip loss, 96 with trans-regulatory effects, 8 with cis-regulatory effects, and 793 located elsewhere. Additionally, 119 eQTLs correspond to 66 positional candidate genes within the QTL regions associated with drip loss.
