  2. Directions • Using your chapter 4 notes, write a postcard as if you live during colonial times. You may choose which colony you live. You are writing to a friend either in another colony or in England. • Your postcard should have five different “facts” in your post. An example, “It’s getting so crowded in our home that my pa built a loft for me to sleep at night.” Underline each fact. You may use only one fact from any of the categories in your notes. • On the other side of the postcard, draw a color picture appropriate to the time period. An example would be a farm.
