  3. * Eye on Education provides a massive supply of innovative books and up to date resources for educators. * Also provides continuous up to date educational news and classroom tools. * Tweets on a regular basis about fresh important educational ideas.* As a pre-service teacher it is very helpful for me to follow “Eye on Education” since it provides me with so many new great ideas, and it is free.

  4. * KurtisHewson is a great follow for me as he is like a super power among teachers and schools in Southern Alberta.* Following Kurtis will provide me with fresh opportunities to potentially get a job in Southern Alberta one day. * Kurtis is both an author and a professor at the University of Lethbridge, and also manages a site called @jigsaw_learning, which provides great insight for both new and experiences teachers.

  5. * Tom Whitby is the founder of my favorite hashtag #edchat, and a Prof of education.* Tom tweets on very regular basis about various educational issues, concerns or ideas.* Tom was one of the first educational bloggers/tweeters that I followed, and has provided me with a wealth of knowledge concerning educational resources and new and innovative teaching strategies.

  7. PLN Participation… @joeleoentz02 When I first got twitter I only used it to catch up on the latest and greatest sports news. I never really thought that I could use it to further my Education career. However, EDIT202 has taught me many valuable lessons, and I am now on the way to discovering endless educational resources, websites, blogs, books, and powerful networking opportunities. The main focus of my Twitter account includes a wide variety of K-12 educators from around the world, educational bloggers, educational technology, and educational life coaches. Following these various educational tweeters has provided me with endless opportunities to grow and learn. As a new teacher, it really helps me focus on what is important and what my energy should be applied to. Connecting with all these educational resources has greatly helped me develop my professional learning network (PLN) My favorite hashtags are #edchat, #edtech, and #edstuff.
