  2. 4th Annual GTT meeting • Held in Alabama • Update on WLFW – NRCS • Overview of CCAAs • Introduction to the range-wide strategy • Discussed revisions to the CCA including: • Survey protocol for population monitoring • Updating temporary enclosures for relocation efforts

  3. Revised GT CCA • Sub-team formed for revision process • Main points revised include: • Addition new party - Joseph W. Jones Ecological Research Center • Updated sections related to monitoring and soft release for translocation • Added Appendix F with the new monitoring protocol • Sent draft revisions to team for input multiple times • Finalized revisions December 2012 • Available on the GT CCA SharePoint website: http://share3.myfwc.com/GTCCA/

Report template revision • Issues raised regarding useful of GT CCA annual report • Sub-team formed to revise/reorganize template according to the ESA’s 5 factors • Revised report template used to complete 4th annual report • Final report submitted to the USFWS and SERPPAS in March 2013 • Available on the GT CCA SharePoint website: http://share3.myfwc.com/GTCCA/

  5. GT CCA leadership revision • GT CCA states that leadership shall rotate among the states • One full rotation has been completed • State leads met in Oct 2012 • agreed that rotating GT CCA leadership was not effective – states don’t have equal resources • Notification to parties that for 4 years, Florida will assume Chair and Georgia, Co-Chair • Coordination will include all states; annual meeting will rotate locations
