Photo Assignment #1 Samples for Study
#1 Animal • Move in close. Make sure your background is simple and clean. You do not have to shoot the entire animal. Try different angles. Entertain your pet with a ball. Don’t forget to isolate your subject.
#2 Landscape • Remember, follow the rule of thirds. Go outside. This shot should be beautiful. Bend has many beautiful landscape shots. Think mountains, lakes, rivers.
#3 Architecture • Remember to get down and shoot up. Look for interesting angles. Do not shoot straight on. You do not need to shoot the entire building. Think corners, windows, archways. Take several shots and move around to find the most interesting perspective.
#4 Action • Obviously, this should not be posed. I must see action or motion in this photo. Think sports. Check out Sports Illustrated for great action shots.
