  1. What is Intentional Community?

  2. Acts 2:42 “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42

Apostles Teaching? • Teaching What: • John 14:26 “…teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” • We believe that the Bible in its entirety (all 66 canonical books) is inspired by God; absolute in its authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content and without error. (Met Statement of Beliefs)

  4. Fellowship • “Partnership” or “Sharing” • Acts 2:44-45 • Had all things in common • Shared as there was need • I John 1:3 • Fellowship with us • Fellowship with Christ

  5. Breaking of Bread • Communion exists to: • Remember Christ's sacrifice (I Cor. 11:24-25) • Keep Christ central to all thought (I Cor. 11:26) • Serves as a reference point to check your heart (I Cor. 11: 27-32)

  6. Prayer • Prayer for both the church & individuals • “Students meeting Students meeting God” • I Thess 5:17, Phil. 4:6
