  3. Daily Participation and Attendance Be present, be prompt, be attentive, be mindful of those around you. You make the difference in this class! What each person does impacts the freedom you have within the piano lab!

  4. Grading Procedures Daily participation and Attendance = 30% Proficiencies and Playing Exams = 40% Performances = 15% Written Tests and Quizzes = 15%

  5. What is a Skill Proficiency? What does a playing exam look like?

  6. Final Recital! How to prepare: *Choose a song that is the correct level of difficulty for YOU! *Give yourself plenty of time to practice in the weeks prior to the end of the semester! *Allow me to help you with song selection!

  8. Class Rules Be in seat on time, with piano keyboard setup, pencil, check-off sheet & piano book in plain sight! Please cease playing and listen, when asked No gum, food or beverage (other than covered water bottle) No using of cell phones, I-pods or online use of computers during class.
