    3. Compound Subject is a subject with two or more nouns or pronouns joined by the word and or another conjunction. Compound subjects share the same predicate.

    4. Example: Jack and Jill ran up the hill. Jack and Jill ran up the hill.

    5. Compound Predicate is a predicate with two or more verbs joined by the word and or another conjunction. Compound predicates share the same subject.

    6. Example: Jack hopped and skipped to his house. Jack hopped and skipped to his house.

    7. Her shoes are blue. Her socks are blue, too. How could we combine these 2 sentences into 1 sentence? Her shoes and socks are blue. Is there a compound subject or compound predicate? Her shoes and socks are blue.
