Welcome to the Spring 2014 Introduction to Music course! In this first class, we'll cover essential concepts and terminologies in music. Students are expected to read Chapters I and III before attending. Key topics include sound elements such as pitch, tone color, and dynamic levels, along with performing media and timbre recognition.
