  2. This is The top layer of the Rainforest. The tallest trees can be found here.

  3. What is the Emergent Layer

  4. This layer is very dark. Fungi and moss grow here

  5. What is the Forest Floor

  6. This layer of the Rainforest is home to animals such as Sloths and Howler Monkeys. They can be found “just hanging around.”

  8. This layer of the Rainforest sees the most sunlight of all the layers.

  10. This layer is just underneath the Rainforest “umbrella.” It extends from the Forest Floor to the base of the Canopy

  32. This butterfly is a common poisonous butterfly that eats poisonous milkweed in its larval stage and lays its eggs on the milkweed plant.
