This bellwork and checkpoint activity focuses on the early kings of Israel and significant historical figures, including female rulers of Egypt. Students will complete checkpoints 43 with questions about key events, individuals, and cultures that shaped ancient Israel, such as the first king, the defeat of Goliath, and the building of the first temple in Jerusalem.
