HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR OURSELVES AND EACH OTHER We will hold high expectations for ourselves and each other and we will do everything to rise to them. We will not be intimidated or scared by these high expectations, but excited and driven by the challenge.

ATTITUDE AND PREPARATION We will come to class every day ready to achieve. We will be confident in our abilities because we have done the work to prepare for success. We will start each day with a new enthusiasm because we know that we are in control of our future and we are going to make it the best that it can be.

Classroom Culture Awards Students who demonstrate the classroom values will be nominated for awards Award winners will have their names posted and win a prize for their actions Students can be nominated by teacher and other students.

Your task… Nominate at least one classmate for a classroom culture award before Friday These nominations can come from things that happen anywhere in the school at any time.

Now it’s your turn… As a group you will create a poster. Poster will contain: • A written explanation of your team’s classroom value (3 complete sentences) • A picture that represents your value • 3 examples of how you can use your value in class Or… • Your team will write and perform a skit showing how your classroom value will look in class.

Expectations of Group Activity You will only talk with your group members, therefore there is no reason to talk loud or shout. Questions for MrKroko will only be answered if your hand is raised and you are not shouting my name Every group member will participate and have a chance to share their ideas You will use the LAB ROLES posted on every desk You will keep track of time and finish within the time limit
