Overview of the European Registration Centre Developments - June 2009

  3. ERC – Reference Protocol • Since last meeting • Two referencing issues addressed and resolved • Total of 4 issues for 2008 • One issue currently being considered

  4. ERC – Reference Protocol • Current Issue under consideration • M111SL Reference Frequency • CEC method states run a reference ‘every 15 tests’ • Open to interpretation? 14 or 15 candidates? • History shows inconsistencies • Need QMWG feedback before contacting lab, if necessary

  5. ERC – Account Management • User Access • Has been restructured • Individual ID • Access given to each user as appropriate • Sponsor, Lab, Reference, QMWG, 646LA, etc. • No more Group Ids / passwords • Labs no longer need additional sponsor id

  6. ERC – ATC Data Requests • April Data Request • 501LA • Bore Polish, Oil Consumption • 646LA • Outlet & Inlet Cam Wear, Bore Polish, Cylinder Liner Wear • Re-issue in May • Max Bore Polish for 646LA • Piston Merits for 501LA, though later withheld

ERC – Website Security • User Ids • Accounts and permissions authorized manually • Set expiration after specified time period of inactivity – 6 months? • Locked out with unsuccessful login attempts • Can be tied to computer IP address • Currently studying usage patterns • Can be customized for each account
