BRICS Law Journal History and objectives: • BRICS Law Journal is the world's first legal academic journal covering legal aspects of the current association of the BRICS group • The journal was created in 2014 on the initiative of the academic community in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa • The journal is a platform for relevant comparative research and legal development not only in and between the BRICS countries themselves but also between those countries and outside world

BRICS Law Journal Opportunities and advantages: • The journal is an open forum for legal scholars and practitioners to reflect on comparative and internationally significant issues • The project creates opportunities to cooperate and conduct joint research on the relevant topics • Open-access journal,indexed by international agencies, including the international research base HeinOnline having access to 1,700 libraries, 40,000 subscribers in 175 countries

BRICS Law Journal Description: • The editorial board includes representatives of all BRICS countries – well-known researches from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa • Publication frequency is 4 issues per year, both in print and on-line • All publications are peer reviewed, which serves many purposes outside of simple communication. The journal is a building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge about BRICS countries

BRICS Law Journal Submission: • Contribution can be submitted as a full-length article, notes, a book review, a conference review, a BRICS law school review and its academic activities • Contributions are only considered for publication if they comply with the journal house style (available at the journal website) • Before submitting a manuscript, authors whose native language is not English may want to get relevant proofreading and editing assistance (grammar, spelling, and usage of language) from special language editing companies • Authors are responsible for the quality of the content and style of the manuscript • All contributions are to be sent to the Chief Editor Professor Dmitry Maleshin or Executive Editor Elena Gladun by e-mail

  6. BRICS Law Journal Editorial policies: • All contrubutions are considered on a peer-reviewed basis. The journal is exercised by peer-review and editorial quality control • Members of the editorial council are leading Russian and international experts in corresponding areas of research , invited as independent readers, recommend manuscripts for publication • All contributions are considered by the editorial board who can make such recommendations as to revise the manuscript, to recommend any refinements or to reject the manuscript outright
