Tri-State REC • $10.1 million federally-funded collaboration • GOAL: Help eligible professionals • implement technology • achieve meaningful use and • qualify for incentives • Covers parts of IN, KY, OH REC support is provided under cooperative agreement 90RC0025/01 from the Office of the National Coordinator for HIT, US Dept. of Health and Human Services .

Greater Cincinnati Beacon Collaboration • Goal: Provide funding to communities to strengthen health IT infrastructure and exchange capabilities and achieve measurable improvements in health care quality, safety, efficiency, and population health. • Funding: $13.75 million award to Cincinnati • Awarded: Sept 1, 2010 • Length of Initiative: 30 month initiative

  5. Nw-HIN Connectivity • Nationwide Health Information Network (Nw-HIN) – Standards for HIE to HIE connectivity • Became member of Nw-HIN Coordinating Committee • Participated in 2 National Pilot Projects: • CMS C-HIEP – transitions in care project • SSA MEGAHIT – exchange disability information
