  4. Signal Detection Theory (SDT) • Measure sensitivity to a target’s presence Signal Decision

  6. Vigilance and SDT • Vigilance is attending to stimuli over time to detect a target • Vigilance decreases rapidly over time (fatigue) • misses and false alarms increase
