  10. HOME PREPARATION Study Island • The objectives on Study Island are based on the standard course of study that 3rd-5th grade teachers are using to prepare for the EOG tests. • The blue ribbon on the Math Pretest and Reading Pretest simply means completion of diagnostic test. • Separate objectives only receive a blue ribbon if mastery of 80% or above is achieved. • If less than 80% an arrow coming down will notify them that they need to practice the skill some more by doing the assignment again. Then a blue ribbon may be awarded for success on the second try. There may even be more tries until mastery is achieved. • Objectives can be skipped by moving the check mark.
