  3. Objective … HPHR • Reward and Recognize officers who have: • Lived and Displayed Corporate Values • Displayed extraordinary commitments • Achieved outstanding results • Promote a culture aligned to desired competencies • Applicable to officers in S/G – A/B/C/D

Defining Extraordinary Results… HPHR • Extraordinary Result is anything that has resulted in substantial value to the Corporation, whether tangible or intangible and includes , but is not restricted to : • Substantial Cost Savings • Direct Contribution to revenues • Novel /innovative approach resulting in value add • Execution of critical tasks against all odds • Successful implementation of systems • Things done beyond the call of duty.

Levels of Recognition… HPHR • Level 1 – The Best: • Zonal (LPG/Retail) / Refinery (MR/VR) Level • SBU ( Aviation/DS/P&P) • Function (IT/Finance/HR) Level • Felicitation by Zonal/Refinery/Function/SBU Head • Level 2 – The Best amongst Best: • Corporate Level • Felicitation by C&MD and Functional Directors

The Process … HPHR • Step 1: Inviting Nomination • Any Colleague, immediate supervisor, any other senior officer or the officer himself can nominate. • In prescribed e-enabled format, details of achievements are captured. • Behaviors displayed in achieving the results are captured. • In work-flow mechanism nomination goes to nominated officer for further elaboration, if nominated by other than self. • In case of self nomination, the entry is forwarded to immediate supervisor for his comments and observations.

The Process … HPHR • Step 2: Elaboration by nominated officer • In prescribed e-enabled format nominated officer substantiates his achievements during the year. • Also substantiates how he has exhibited the competencies with examples. • In work flow mechanism, nomination goes to immediate supervisor for review and validation. • Step 4: Review and validation by line supervisor and Reviewing officer ( supervisor’s supervisor) • Supervisor and reviewing officers review, validate and comment on significance of achievement, contribution of officer nominated and on competencies exhibited.

The evaluation process … HPHR • Zonal/SBU/Function/Refinery Committees: • Zonal Retail Committee • Zonal LPG Committee • Direct Sales / Aviation/ Lubes and P&P Committee • MR/VR Committees • Support Functions Committees • Scope of committees… • Review, evaluate and select the best entries • Recommend the best amongst the best entries to Central Committees

The evaluation process … HPHR • Central Committees: • Cross –Functional Committee with representation from different SBU, Functions etc. • Scope of committees… • Review and evaluate the best entries forwarded by the Zonal /SBU / Refinery / Functional Committees. • Select the Best amongst the Best for the Outstanding Achievement Award at Corporate level.

The Process Flow … HPHR Nomination Process Evaluation Process Rewarding Process Nominations by self, colleague or senior officer Evaluation by Central Committee The Best amongst the Best get rewarded at Corporate Level Elaboration by Nominated Officer Evaluation by Zonal / SBU / Functional / Refinery Committees The Best get rewarded at Zonal / SBU / Functional /Refinery Level Review by Immediate Supervisor and Reviewing Officer of Nominated Officer
