  2. Registration • Enter in your browser the following URL http://wordpress.com • Click sign-up

  3. Registration Cont’d • Fill up the form and leave no blank fields • You’ll receive an email requesting activation for you website. • This will be the page look after activating your account. Click Login.

  4. Preparing your website • Go to dashboard • The left-hand navigation menus are a way to access almost all the powers of your blog/site. • You can open any left-hand menu by hovering over the text, and then clicking on the arrow that appears

  5. Changing the tagline • You can now adjust your blog/site to your liking. You can also add a tagline here which will appear under your title usually at the top of your site.

  6. Site picture • It is also possible to upload an image to represent your site/blog when it appears in various places in WordPress.com.

  7. Adding new pages • Create a Static Homepage: • Click Pages->Add New in your Dashboard.
