Benjamin was born on Nov.9, 1731 in Baltimore County, Maryland • Benjamin grew up with his mom Mary, dad Robert, grandmother Molly, grandfather Banneka, and his three sisters. • His grandmother Molly taught him from 6-15 years of age. When he was 15 years old he started to go to school with whites. • He was an astronomer, almanac author, scientist, surveyor, and farmer. • He died on Oct. 9, 1806 on his farm. Personal Information

An almanac is an annual reference book of useful and interesting facts relating to countries of the world, sports, entertainment, etc. He made a clock out of wood and even the gears were out of wood.
