  2. Paul Warns You that God Is Not Mocked. • Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. • Galatians 6:7 • Mock means to treat with contempt or ridicule. • You must show your reverence (honor) for God. • A principle of sowing and reaping is still used today. • Sow Sparingly and Reaping Sparingly and Sow Bountifully and Reap Bountifully – 2 Corinthians 9:6 • Sow to Flesh and Reap Corruption and Sow to the Spirit and Reap Life Everlasting - Galatians 6:8

  3. Samson Uses A Mule’s Jawbone • Judges 15:15-17 • And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. • 16And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. • 17And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.

  4. Haman Fails His Plan • Esther 7:9-10 • 9And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon. • 10So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.

  5. King David Has Scars of Sins • King David • 2 Samuel 12:13-14 • 13And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. • 14Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

  6. Examples of Sowing and Reaping • Evangelist D. L. Moody Gives a Story of a Man Who Did a Crime. • His crime was forgery. • He became a Christian under D. L. Moody’s evangelism. • He confessed to the police, was put in prison and was pardoned by the governor. • An Assistant Pastor Confesses His Crime. • He killed a clerk during robbery with his friends when he was a teenager. • Later he became a Christian and became an assistant pastor later. • Then he confessed to the police and was put in prison. He is still there.
