Getting Started Teacher Guide
Teacher Sign-in • Sign-in Name =Last name and first initial • Password =First three letters of last name +first initial + district number(29) site number(0201) Example • Sign-in Name =NEWHOUSES • Password =NEW299360
Student Sign-in • Sign-in Name =Last name and first initial • Password =29(County #) +first four letters of last name +birth month(2 digits) +birth date (2 digits) Example • Sign-in Name =NEWHOUSES • Password =29NEWH1217
Classroom Teacher’s Desk Features • Create and/or edit class roll • Review progress reports on individuals or classes • Resource Center • Skills location map • Table of benchmarks & skills • Item review • Letter to parents • View instructional games & modify token rates • Send messages to students
Adding Classes • Select one program to use with your class (You may add more later). • Enter a name for your class (e.g., LangArts_per1). • Click SAVE.
Adding Students • Select the grade level of your students. • Search for the last name of the student by clicking on the appropriate letter or by entering the last name in the Search box. • Click SEARCH. • Scroll down to see the list of students. • Check the box of the correct student name and click SAVE.
View Student Sign-in Names and Passwords • Click on the Class Roll Options icon. • Select the class name from the pull-down menu at the top of the page. • Click once on “View the Class Roll”. • Scroll down to view student information.
Classroom Teacher’s Desk Features Student Performance Reports • Check progress on individuals or classes • View math data by theme, strand, or benchmark • View reading data by benchmark, skill, or passage • Compare percentage correct before and after learning guidance
