  2. The selection of the casting materials that can be used in silicone rubber material of moulding is dependent on what you desire to produce. Say for instance, if you intent to make jewellery then you will look at resins and if plaques are being made for children for painting purposes then plaster shall be needed. Out of all the moulding materials, silicone rubber material for moulding wins the race hands-down.

  3. Need Knowing the Terms The simplest method till date has to be the process of “block mould” In essence, silicone can be poured into a box containing the prototype. Once it is cured into a rubber solid block, it can be removed from the box. The prototype can be removed from mould, casting material is poured and you are supposed to wait for it to get cured. After all of this, your part has to b removed from mould. When properly poured and mixed, detailed reproduction with the help of Silicone vacuum casting is flawless. Since, this rubber does not stick to any material which is also an exception of it. It clearly means that parts can be casted without addition of an agent that releases the mould.
