NEWS BIAS DAY 2

In this activity, students will analyze the placement choices of news stories within two different newspapers. Using a chart format, they will document the headlines of stories from various sections such as international, entertainment, local, national, sports, and business. After completing their charts, students will participate in a gallery walk to compare their findings. They will write a reflective response discussing what they noticed about story placements, potential biases, and which publication they found most reliable based on their observations.
