Chester War Memorial: The Eagle Has Landed - A Tribute to Valor

In June 2010, the Chester War Memorial welcomed its final piece: a 318-pound bronze American Eagle, symbolizing honor and sacrifice. The placement of the eagle was a meticulous effort by supporters including Jerry LaMark, Bob Sumner, John Divis, and others. This momentous occasion was celebrated by those who played a role in its creation, alongside community members who contributed donations. The Chester War Memorial Committee, led by Jerry LaMark, expresses deep gratitude to all who helped realize this vision to honor veterans. Donations for ongoing maintenance are welcomed.
