  6. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE KALWAN, DIST. NASHIK. 2.(a) Produiction Oriented Training Scheme (P.O.T.S.) Under this scheme outside jobs are done • Machining • Fabrication • Furniture Making / Repairing • Welding • Two and Four Wheeler Vehicle repairs. • Training Programmes as per requirements Revenue Generated in 2006-2007 : Rs. 1.25 Lakhs

  7. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE KALWAN, DIST. NASHIK. 2(b). Objectives of P.O.T.S. To Save Expenditure on raw material • To increase the skill of trainees. • To increase ability and confidence of a trainee for self employment. • To purchase new equipments. • To distribute 50% amount of labour cost among the trainees and staff concerned as per G.|R.

Lok Seva Kendra Under this Scheme short term Training of different Trades is given to the Trainees from unorganised sector & for school drop outs & rendered different services to the Society. Duration of Training : 1 to 2 months Timing : 2 hours daily(After working Hours) No. of Trainees trained in 05-06 : 433 Revenue Generated in year 05-06 : 4360 /-

  9. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE KALWAN, DIST. NASHIK. 4.Vocational Training As per Demand Under this scheme free of Cost Training is given to SC/ST/VJNT Trainees. Trades :- Welding, Wireman, Two wheeler and Four wheeler repairs, Cutting & Tailoring, DTP, Data Entry Operator. • No. of trainees trained 06-07 :- 166 Nos • Stipend Rs.100 /- per month per Trainee is given • Free toolkit Worth Rs.1000/- is Given to Trainees • Two Days Entrepreneurship Training is Organized for the trainees.

  10. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE KALWAN, DIST. NASHIK. 5. National ServiceScheme (NSS) Total Volunteers : 50 Nos. For Special Camp : 25 Nos. Special winter camp of 10 days was held at Chankapur Tq. Kalwan Dist. Nashik.Various Technical Works were done during this Camp. Conducted Classes of Repairs of Electrical Appliances, Water Pump repairs etc. Various development works such as welding of gates of small dams, road development, construction & repairing of urinals and plumbing work in the Ashram Schools.

  11. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE KALWAN, DIST. NASHIK. • 6. Institute Development Plan (IDP) • This institute has been selected for IDP under World Bank Project since year 2006-07. • In this project development of following key activities are proposed. 1. Modernization of machinery & equipment by replacement of old machinery . 2. Removal of deficiency of machines and equipments. 3. Development of learning and teaching resources. 4. Development of training facilities. 5. Renovation of |Workshop & classrooms
