Pilgrim Station • Workforce: • ~580 permanent employees • ~130 support employees • ~700 - 900 temporary employees to support refueling outages approximately every 2-years • Station Contribution to Region: • ~640 MWe to New England grid • Displacing ~ 9 M barrels of imported oil annually • Avoidance of ~1.6M to 5.7M tons of greenhouse gases • Avoidance of 153 to 472 tons of NOx emissions* • Avoidance of 48 to 1238 tons of SOx emissions* * (assumes state of the art control equipment)
