Neilson W7-X Trim Coil Power Supplies • PPPL work plan (WAF) review- Oct. 2011. ✓ • Conceptual Design Review. 5 January. ✓ • Choose technology (switching vs. rectifier bridge). 15 Feb. • Preliminary Design Review, Final Design Review, Procurement / Fabrication • Schedule to be updated after concept selection. • Complete deliveries to IPP site.- 1 April 2014. W7-X Physics Program: Research Preparations • Define physics program and facilitate information transfer with W7-X (Gates) • Arrange transfer of divertor and magnetic diagnostics info to PPPL (Gates, Lazerson) • Benchmark HINT2-PIES against agreed upon W7-X equilibrium (Lazerson, Reiman) • Modify PIES to allow non-stellarator symmetry (Lazerson, Reiman)

Neilson Reconstruction (Lazerson) MSE Diagnostic Benchmark - 2/12 (ISHW) Equilibrium with Flow paper - 3/12 LHD Coil Current Optimization - 4/12 (EPS) Non-Stellarator Symmetric PIES - 7/12 Shielding Currents in PIES - 9/12 (APS) PIES/HINT2 Benchmarking Effort –TBD XICS (Pablant) RSI paper in progress. Paper on physics interpretation in progress New detector: delivery from Dectris by August. In-house work on detector housing needs to start in April.
