Increase Awareness • Provide Educational Opportunities that Create Understanding and Encourage Compassion • Partner with your local public health office, hospitals, community health centers, or nonprofit service organizations to host educational events • Such as: MAT; Addiction as a disease; pain management; ACES; Safe Drug disposals

Building Community Capacity • Offer Training Programs to Build the Capacity of Communities to Respond • save lives by referring people to proper treatment and help navigate systems of care. • partner with outside organizations (including public health offices, treatment facilities, hospitals, community health centers or nonprofit service providers) to deliver capacity-building trainings • SBIRT • How to navigate the SUD system of care • MI & Mental Health First Aid • Emergency response & Peer Recovery Models

Rebuild & Restore • Support Individuals and Families in Rebuilding Their Lives • Health • Home • Purpose • Community • Employment readiness, transportation, food, clothing, or child care. • Identify a community leader to connect people to essential services by creating a database • Offer life readiness and coaching programs for formerly incarcerated citizens reentering society. • Coach families on financial management.
