  3. Learning Centre – encourage student use Clear expectations – guidelines Formalising links between transition and mentoring Involving student services in the curriculum Connect students outside of assessment (e.g Facebook groups) Discipline societies, continuing from transition program

Presentation from each student in tutorial daunting at first Learning strategies from rote learning to conceptual learning Orientation/transition and mentoring programs Managing expectations in first week: what is different from school environment Support mature students to connect with like – separate transition mentoring Don’t overwhelm students with too much information
