  1. Welcome….Geologists Bell Ringer: 2.7.13 Quickly look up what this scientist, Mary Leakey, was famous for and recognized by Google on her 100th birthday yesterday. Write and share with your group your findings.

  2. Bell Ringer: Explanation • Mary Leakey was a British paleoanthropologist who discovered a different fossilized skulls. Some of the skulls lead to connections between humans and apes.
