Community Fire Safety and Preparedness in the Wellington Region

The Pauatahanui Residents Association is committed to enhancing fire safety and readiness across the rural fire district of Wellington (excluding Wairarapa). Our team focuses on community engagement, firefighter training, and operational readiness, partnering with the Fire Service, Councils, and DOC. Key initiatives include fire permits, clear accessways, marked addresses, and water availability. We're also involved in projects such as water tank kits and advocating for fire prevention initiatives in local bylaws. Join us in creating a safer community.
