  4. Code of Conduct • What do you expect the classroom environment to look/feel/be like? (this the rights piece) • What needs to happen in the classroom to achieve the environment you want? (this is the responsibility’s piece) • My role? • Your role? • Attendance! • Main points on a piece of flip chart paper, please

Rules vs Laws Which of the following are laws; which are rules? • Be on time for class • Do not smoke on school property • Get your homework done on time • Wear your seatbelt • Do not smoke in a car with a child passenger • Turn off your cellphone in class or movie theatre • Guess which ones I want you to follow?
