  4. What is the i-DEPOT? • A reliable tool to prove who is the creator of a specific idea, design, concept or process • A first step in the innovation process • A tool when negotiating with potential partners • Documentary evidence

  5. What isn’t an i-DEPOT? • NOT an intellectual property right • Registering an idea gives no exclusive right • Registering an idea guarantees confidentiality by BOIP, but not by other parties.  recommendation: consider seeking legal protection after the design phase

  9. What does an i-DEPOT cost? I-DEPOT: • For 5 years : € 35 • Renewal 5 years: € 25 Credit account: • One-off rate : € 350 • 20 credits : € 100 (€ 5 each) • 50 credits : € 225 (€ 4.50 each) • 100 credits : € 400 (€ 4 each) • 250 credits : € 875 (€ 3.50 each) • 500 credits : € 1.250 (€ 2.50 each)
