A Memorable Year in Fourth Grade: Adventures in Science, Art, and More
This year in fourth grade was filled with fun and learning experiences! We started by baking California cookies for Halloween, my favorite holiday, which included a festive parade and party. Our art classes were full of creativity, and we enjoyed interactions with Russian pen pals. In science, we explored magnetism, electricity, rocks, and the Gold Rush, which were particularly exciting! Career Day introduced us to various professionals, making learning about jobs enjoyable. Our field trip to the Audubon taught us about local wildlife. It was a truly unforgettable year!

California Cookies • In the beginning of the year we made Californiacookies • Our cookies where supposed to look like California
Halloween • At school Halloween was my favorite Holiday • We had a Halloween Parade • For Halloween we had a party
Fun • This year we did a lot of fun things One example is Art Docent, In Art docent We Painted, colored, glued and lots of other fun stuff. • We also had pen palls from Russia who sent letters to us • We also went to the California State Capitol
Science • In science we had three chapters Magnetism and Electricity, Rocks and Minerals, and The Gold Rush. • I had a lot of fun with these three subjects!!!
Career Day • On Career Day we met a Fire-fighter, a movie-maker, an Air plane mechanic, and worm scientist • All of the jobs where very interesting!!!
Math • During the year we also did a lot of math • We did mad minutes, where we had one minute to do 30 or 40 math facts • We also had Pink math witch was a pink math book • Last, we had daily routines, and homework books
Audubon • On our trip to the Audubon We learned about all different Plants and animals • We found Newts, slugs, Frogs etc. • My tour guide taught me many Interesting things
