Oceanography Merit Badge Program - May 17, 2008, Troop 990, 504, 505 & 258

On May 17, 2008, the Oceanography Merit Badge program brought together Boy Scout Troops 990 from Springfield, VA, 504 from Virginia Beach, VA, 505 from Mechanicsville, VA, and 258 from Colonial Beach, VA. Scouts participated in a series of educational activities, including hands-on experiments and discussions about marine ecosystems, ocean currents, and the importance of ocean conservation. The event helped foster teamwork and deepen the scouts' understanding of oceanography. Photographs from the event were captured by Julie R. Morgan.
