  2. Cart Design Summary • Cart - pursue air bearing • - reduce length of cart. (too wide) • Issues • Bottom needs to have access to painting • Management needs to have further clarification from air bearing manufacturers. (internal Demo) • Over designed center of gravity. • A mini model suggested to show operators and have their approval and a simulation to test reliability. • Implementation – operator training required for operators. • Static restraining required at testing and loading station.

  3. Propulsion • Propulsion - Approved Tugger • Either battery or Air operated • Move one cart at a time • Issue • Price of tuggers • Space ulitization.

  4. Loading Lifting - Crane is believed to be used to lift compressor to truck. Issue Current loading dock not designed. System requires finesse.

  5. Next Step • Calculate dimension of scale for our prototype. • Include: Frame, cylinders, cart, air bearings and tugger. • Re-evaluate specs – change ease of use to 3. • Get quotes from suppliers for prototype. • Create Bill of material for prototype.
