History/ News • Bengals are in the AFC North along with Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cleveland Browns. • Began play in 1968 as an expansion team. • Joined the NFL in 1970. • They have played in two Super bowls, have never won one but they have made 9 playoff appearances and have won many division titles.
