What is the Confederation…? • Permanent organisational backbone for European repository structure • Geographic and thematic extension • Diffusion of DRIVER technology • Connect established communities of practice • Promote Open Access • Fill repositories with Open Access publications The Confederation thus provides an integrated concept for organisation, technology and content for the European Open Access repository landscape, in a virtual structure – beyond DRIVER project activities.
