Biography • Bill was Born in Nebraska • He got his bachelors degree in Economics at Arizona State University • His work mostly appears in Sports Illustrated Magazine • His type of photography is Sports • He takes pictures of sports games and players • His first photography job was with the Miami Herald in 1979 • In 1983 he began shooting Sports Illustrated Magazine • One of his influences was his Mother

  4. Panther Sandwich • For the photo “Panther Sandwich” the lighting is natural and it is coming from behind the photographer. The main subject in this photo is the guy between the other 2. Composition doesn’t really play a part in this photo. I don’t think the photographer is trying to communicate anything with this photo. I selected this photo because it is a good shot.

  5. U.S. Relay Gold • For the photo “U.S. Relay Gold” the lighting is natural and comes from above. The main subject in this photo is the guy in front with his hands in the air. There isn’t much composition in this photo. I selected this photo because it looked like a good image to use.

  6. Eddie Jones in Flight • For the photo “Eddie Jones in Flight” The lighting used is the arena lights from above. The main subject in this photo is the player jumping over the fans. There is not much composition in this photo. I chose this photo because I thought it was a well taken photo.

  7. Couch Sitting • For the photo “Couch Sitting” the lighting is artificial and coming from the sides and behind the photographer. The main subject is the guys sitting on the couch. There isn’t much composition. I chose this photo because it looked like a well taken photograph.

  8. Cheyenne Frontier Days • For the photo “Cheyenne Frontier Days” the lighting used is natural and coming from over head. The main subject in this photo is the guy and the horse. This photo doesn’t have any composition. I think what the photographer is trying to communicate is that its going to hurt if the horse falls on the guy. I selected this photograph because it is a good action photo.

  9. Ski-Jumping • For the photo “Ski-Jumping” the lighting used is natural and coming from overhead. The main subject in this photo is the person with the ski’s. The composition in this photo is rule of thirds. I don’t think the photographer is trying to communicate much with this photo. I chose this photo because I thought it was another good action photo.
