I See 3D All Around Me. By: Mallory Burns. Everyday when I wake up I see shapes. They are everywhere!. This morning I ate an orange. Did you know my orange is in the shape of a sphere?. When I got to school I sharpened my pencil. Did you know my pencil is in the shape of a cylinder?.

  2. Everyday when I wake up I see shapes. They are everywhere!

  3. This morning I ate an orange. Did you know my orange is in the shape of a sphere?

  4. When I got to school I sharpened my pencil. Did you know my pencil is in the shape of a cylinder?

  5. During history we learned about Egypt. They have pyramids there. Did you know they are in the shape of a pyramid?

  6. At lunch we celebrated my friends birthday. We got to eat ice cream cones! Did you know that an ice cream cone is in the shape of an upside down cone?

  7. After lunch we worked on math. We played with dice. Did you know that a dice is in the shape of a cube?

  8. After school, we went to the park for my friend’s birthday. We got party hats. Did you know that a party hat is in the shape of a cone?

  9. At the park we played four square with a red ball. Did you know that a ball is in the shape of a sphere?

  10. After the park, we went back to my friends house. We each got a soda. Did you know that a soda can is in the shape of a cylinder?

  11. Then, my friend got to open her presents. My present was wrapped in a box. Did you know a box is in the shape of a cube?

  12. When it was time for bed, we all piled in the tent. Did you know that the top of our tent is in the shape of a pyramid?

  13. It was a wonderful day of shapes! Now it is your turn to find shapes all around you. Goodnight.
