What initiatives has your union taken your organize informal sector workers. • Organise the Unorganised FTUC – FIJI Trade Union Congress formal a Union in the Government workers • Provided then under Legal Right ext. Case taken and right of informal workers getting good bargaining • Trade Union- Lobby’s to regularise workers to pay for social security if shops/ other informal sectors had 10 or more workers
What steps need to be taken by TUs to organise home based woman workers • Firstly the TU’s should have equal women representatives in National Body and have a separate women wing who will look into this aspect of womens at large. • Different representative from different informal sector
