  3. “Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples.” Acts 9:1

  4. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” Acts 9:3-4

  5. “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestorshe has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus.” Acts 13:32-33

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,    that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:46-47
