Empowering Communities Through Missionary Support and Outreach Initiatives

The Central Texas Conference churches are dedicated to financially supporting United Methodist missionaries and fostering Covenant relationships to enhance community outreach and mission education. With a commitment to pay full apportionments and provide ongoing programming, we encourage participation in initiatives like the Five Star Mission Awards and mission education programs. Our collaborations include reciprocal mission opportunities, leadership development, and outreach efforts that address global challenges such as health crises and poverty, striving for intentional faith development within our communities.

  1. Missionary Support • 53 Central Texas Conference Churches financially supported a United Methodist Missionary • 34 Central Texas Conference Churches supported a full Covenant Relationship with a United Methodist Missionary • $2500/year or $5/member/year

  2. Five Star Mission Awards • Pay 100% apportionments • Contribute to a GBGM missionary • Contribute to an Advance Special • Support an ongoing program of mission education • Support outreach in the local community

Risk Taking Mission and Service • Eastern Mexico Conference Covenant Relationship • Reciprocal Mission Opportunities • Reciprocal Leadership Development Opportunities • Opportunities for development of pastoral/lay relationships to strengthen our connection as servants together in the Body of Christ
