  1. My London Residential Review By Lily Walke

  2. Me on the Train The Hostel Day 1 – Wednesday 27th February 2013 1) I left St Peters and went to Exeter train station by Coach. It seemed to take a long time. 2) We got onto the train to London and I sat with Josie. 3) We ate lots of snacks, talked and read our books. 5) We soon arrived in London Paddington Station. It was very noisy and busy with people rushing around. St Pauls Cathedral Josie and I on the Bunk Beds 4) I enjoyed looking out of the window at the scenery. 7) The Hostel was grand and stunning. 6) We got on the Underground to the Hostel. This was great fun and scary at the same time.

  3. 8) We sorted our sleeping arrangements and I was in a top bunk with Josie underneath. 9) We had lunch, left our luggage and travelled to St Pauls on the Underground. 11) Back on the Underground to the Hostel, unpacked and had tea. But I was a little scared of eating the meat in case it was horse! 10) St Pauls was amazing, we looked around and went into the whispering gallery; which was the best part. 14) Glad to get to bed as very tired! 12) Then we played in our room. 13) We then filled out a booklet about London.

  4. Houses Of Parliament Big Ben Day 2 – Thursday 28th February 2013 1) Up and had a cooked breakfast. 2) Went on the Underground to see Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and South Bank. 3) Then went on the London Eye, where we met up with the School from London. London Eye River Cruise 4) Next we went on the Thames River Cruise. We saw lots of buildings of interest and learnt a lot about London in general. The London School also joined us. 5) The London Eye was great and very exciting. We had a brilliant view.

  5. 6) We then went to the Science Museum and had lunch first. We did lots of experiments and we looked around the museum. This was fun and the best part was looking at the space rockets! 7) Went back to the Hostel on the Underground, had tea – Vegetable Lasagne which was mouth watering! 8) We did a quiz on what we had learnt about London. 9) Went to bed as very tired.

  6. Houses Of Parliament and Big Ben. Day 3 – Friday 1st March 2013 1) Up and had a cooked breakfast again – Yum Yum! 2) We packed up our bags and went on the Underground to the National Gallery. We looked at all the paintings, my favourite was a painting of a tiger with a forest in the background – it was done by a very famous artist. The paint was thick and bright – it looked 3D to me! 3) We caught the Underground to Paddington Station, had lunch, then got on the train. I ate a lot of sweets on the way home! I was very excited to be going home to see my family. 4) The journey felt really short and we were soon on the Coach back to St Peter’s. 5) I had a great time and my best part of the Residential was going on the Underground, because it was thrilling, fast and exciting!!
