  2. Creating a Web Page • Creating a web site can be very simple using the NVU editor. You will find it is not much different than using text and images in Microsoft Word. Additional Notes:

  4. Editing Images • Either way you choose to edit your picture will work. This way or using freehand on the prior page. Additional Notes:

  5. Connect to pages & other sites • You can connect to another website using a URL or you can link to another page in your site by clicking the CHOOSE FILE Button on the Link Properties menu and choose the page you wish to link to. Additional Notes:

  7. Table Properties • Make sure your table is highlighted before you attempt to go to the Table Cell Properties Menu. Additional Notes:

  8. Anchors • Highlight the text you want to attach an anchor to and click the anchor button on the toolbar. We have anchored Softball in the example above. Additional Notes:

  9. Saving Pages • Make sure you name your first page index and keep the other page names simple and try to eliminate any spacing if necessary. All pages require a .html extension Additional Notes:

  10. Text & Background Colors • Make sure the background color and the text color you use contrast enough so they are easy to read. There is nothing more frustrating than a site that is difficult to read Additional Notes:
